Side Line Super Nachos Dip

This easy and filling dip is perfect for game day or your next party! Refried beans and spiced ground beef makes this the perfect dip for your chips!

This recipe came from a friend I worked with about 30 years ago. She brought it for a potluck and it was a hit! It is really good, super easy and very fillling because it's full of protein! This appetizer can be eaten with tortilla chips, Frito's or a fork, it's that good!

What You Need

  • Refried Beans

  • Picante Sauce

  • Ground Beef

  • Tomatoes, blended

  • Cumin

  • Salt

  • Monterey Jack Cheese

If you need more good appetizers for your party or game day, here are a few of my favorites:

How to Make Side Line Super Nachos Dip

After you have the ground beef cooked, layer your ingredients and bake! You will be enjoying this delicious appetizer in about 30 minutes!

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Prepare a 9x13 inch baking pan or a sheet pan with non-stick cooking spray. In a medium pan, cook the ground beef until done. Drain any excess fat. Add picante sauce, tomatoes, cumin and salt and let simmer for 10 minutes.

Step 2: While the meat mixture is simmering, mix together the refried beans and picante sauce in a small bowl. Once fully combined, layer on the bottom of the prepared 9x13 inch pan.

Step 3: Spread the meat mixture over the top of the bean mixture. Top with shredded Monterey Jack cheese. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and serve immediately with tortilla chips or Frito's.

How to Store Side Line Super Nachos Dip

If you have any leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. It will re-heat well in the oven or microwave.
