Easy Snickers Cookies are soft, delicious peanut butter cookies with a sweet surprise inside. Each cookie is made with rich butter and wrapped around a Snickers candy bar, creating a gooey center filled with melted chocolate, caramel, and nougat.

I have had this recipe for more than 40 years and it is a good one. If you love peanut butter cookies and you are a fan of Snickers candy bars like I am, you will definitely want to give these Snickers Cookies a try. The peanut butter cookie is rich and buttery on its own, but it becomes even more delicious when you bite into the center and get that sweet taste of the Snickers bar. This is everyday cooking fun at its finest, the kind of quick recipe that I love for its simplicity and indulgence.Â
There’s nothing quite like baking up a batch of the best peanut butter cookies, especially when they hide a candy bar surprise inside. These Easy Snickers Cookies start with a rich peanut butter dough made with butter and brown sugar, then each cookie dough ball is wrapped around a mini Snickers bar (or pieces of Snickers) so that every bite delivers a molten mix of chocolate, caramel, and nougat.Â

Tips for Making Easy Snickers Cookies
Bring the butter, eggs and milk to room temperature.
Mini Snickers bars are the perfect size for stuffing inside cookies and save time since you do not need to cut or portion a full candy bar.
Unwrapping all of the Snickers bars before you start assembling the cookies will make the process much faster and easier.
While Snickers bars are the star of this recipe, you can experiment with other fillings. Dark chocolate chunks or white chocolate pieces can give the cookies a fun and delicious twist.

How to Make Easy Snickers Cookie
Step 1: Heat oven to 375° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper, if desired. In a large bowl, combine 3 1/2 cups flour, 2 teaspoons baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt and mix to combine. Set aside.Â

Step 2: Using a stand mixer with the paddle attachment or a large bowl using an electric mixer, blend 1 cup softened butter, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup brown sugar, and 1 cup creamy peanut butter until well combined. Add the 2 eggs, one at a time, mixing after each egg. Add 1/4 cup milk and 2 teaspoons vanilla and mix. Scrape down the side and bottom of the bowl and mix again until fully combined. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until completely combined.Â

Step 3: Divide the dough into 1 tablespoon pieces and flatten. Place a mini Snickers bar in the center of each piece of dough. Seal the dough around the candy, making sure the dough completely surrounds the Snickers candy bar before baking. Fully enclosing the candy helps keep the caramel and chocolate from leaking out while the cookies bake. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Once the cookies have cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar and drizzle with milk chocolate. The cookies bake into a square around the Snickers inside, giving them a unique look!Â
